Terms of Service

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Welcome to Oink Care Passport (“we”, “our”, or “the app”). By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the application.

1 Intended Purpose & Medical Disclaimer

Oink Care Passport is an informational and organisational tool designed to help individuals, parents, and guardians record and communicate care routines, dietary needs, allergies, and emergency directives.

Important: The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical treatment plans. It is not a replacement for qualified healthcare professionals, primary physicians, or professional emergency services. In a life-threatening emergency, always contact local emergency services immediately (999/112).

2 Local Storage & User Responsibility for Backups

Oink Care Passport operates on an offline-first, air-gapped architecture. All profile records, medications, and instructions are stored exclusively on your device's local memory.

Because we do not store copies of your data on remote cloud servers, you are solely responsible for creating and maintaining external backups of your passport profiles (via encrypted .oink exports or permanent QR codes). We accept no liability for data loss resulting from device damage, loss, operating system resets, or app uninstallation.

3 Subscriptions & Purchases

Core emergency passport features (allergies, directives, vital identifiers, diagnoses, and hospital details) are 100% free to create and edit.

Access to advanced modules (Medications, Daily Routines, Sensory Preferences, Care Team) and outbound exports requires an active subscription or grandfathered lifetime unlock. All billing, recurring renewals, and cancellations are processed directly through your Google Play Account or Apple ID in accordance with store policies. You may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time via your device account settings.

4 Data Sharing & Recipient Access

When sharing passports via offline QR codes or encrypted files, you control whom you transmit data to. Shared passports operate in Read-Only mode for the recipient. You are responsible for ensuring that the recipient is authorized to receive sensitive care notes.
